MakeUpCoLtd is an amazing company that creates very detailed scale models of Porsche's (air cooled). I was able to get my hands on a Singer GULF. I also got some other cars from less detailed manufacturers, cool regardless.

Luck has nothing to do with it...

Luck has nothing to do with success, its education and persistence. Education does not have to come from top schools (it helps), the best education is from your parents and the world around you. Best represented as street smarts. Yes, hanging out on the streets helps. Well today, I am a lucky guy, driving some very nice cars, but more importantly a very good looking wife and a great little boy named Andrew driving on the hills of Northern California. 

Foam

Had a WFH day. And I started it off with a bath for my Carrera S. I am using Chemical guys foam soap and my archer pressure gun. It gets the job done.

What an experience. Must do for anyone with the time and passion. Order your car via European Delivery and spend a good 2-3 weeks in Europe driving your baby around. mind you the engine is not fully broken in but that is the beauty of it, you get to drive more and more every day. At a moderate RPM. But all worth it!

Portrait readiness

I follow a IG artist and Porsche owner @Spyder-JJ1, he creates amazing drawings of cars. So I am starting off with Carrera. I want to have all 3 eventually.  For now here are some of the shots as proposals for the final portrait.

I don't always do it, but when I do its seems to be the same good looking woman in a fabulous Sapphire Blue Macan. I believe she does Yoga and goes by the name of Yoginaz.

Clean Ladies July 3, 2017

Often I need to let out some steam, the reason is not worth mentioning on this site, but the event is worth it. I took on the task to wash all 4 of our Porsche's, luckily the Macan did not come back in time (i was spent by the time I was over with Scarlett, Isabella and Carrera). 

Recently I picked up a pressure washer and some foaming soap. Its a blast to blast foam and wash the cars. I used lots of micro fiber towels to wipe off the excess water and by the end of the evening I had no energy left... Note to self: Don't try to wax all 3 at the same time. As I learned from the best, when detailing the car, best to go slow and by sections. Yes one day the fender, next day the other fender and so on... 

Meanwhile I present the result of my lunatic effort.

DSDP: Canepa drive

Drove to Canepa's Cars & Coffee with Andrew. Met Sagar and had a good time at the shop. A total of 8 959, some McLaren monsters and my favorite the 911R, 911T and 917K's. After the drive I headed home for a good read, a sparkling water and my espresso. 

 

 

The coolest Auntie: Tia B

Taco Tuesday with Tia B turned out to be a double first for Tia B. She had not been in my Carrera and therefore never driven it. So she got to do both. 

LeMans 2017

What a race. I stayed up 18 hours until I crashed... and so did some of the Toyotas, also the Porsche No.1 was no more.. and out from the back of the bus, behind the LMP2 herd, came the Porsche No. 2 to win LeMans. What a night and day!
