Rennsport Reunion VI
Rennsport Reunion. A must for anyone who likes Porsche. For me, it will be 2nd Reunion and can't wait to start planning. So much so, that I already have my 991S corral pass along with a 4-day pass.
I am debating if I corral the 912E, she needs a lot of work, but then again she is what I have and there are not so many of them around. One issue with taking her is the logistics of moving 2 cars.
Driving both cars Parade laps would be awesome.
LA Literature & Auto Show 2018
Yearly trip to this show. This time, Andrew will be traveling with me. We hope to see Dennis and his crew. http://www.lalitandtoyshow.com
Also, we will invite Hamed and Meredith to the Petersen Museum: Porsche Effect
Long overdue visit to the Train Museum in Sacramento
Its been a while since I wanted to take Andrew to the train museum in Sacramento. I figured I needed to do a short drive to get Andrew ready for the drives this year and also give some time to Parinaz to chill alone. Andrew loves trains and so do I. So off we went on our 2 hour drive to the City of Sacramento.
Needless to say, it was fun, a couple of bikers made it fun for Andrew on the way in, he got to wave at them, while on the way out I got to scare them with my exhaust note. They did not expect me to keep up with the heavy Harley's but Carrera did... Safe environment but I am sure I made them think about those times they are excessively loud and scare drivers as they pass by.
Speed was decent a couple of 3 digit figures, but nothing sustained as we were just passing or avoiding the typical Prius cutting me off...
Los Angeles Auto Show
Every year I try to make it to this event in LA. This year I will drive up with the 991S, my buddy Andro will be joining me to the Porsche PCA members breakfast-early access to the Porsche section of LAAS. A true treat, given that you get a chance to sit on some of the racecars, something you don't always experience.
I imagine they will have the GT2RS and the RSR, maybe even the Turbo S Exclusive Manufaktur, a Mission E (yeah right).
Remember to bring your key or PCA member card. They come handy at LAAS.
If all goes well we will head over to PECLA (Porsche Experience Center LA) to dine at Restaurant 356 and maybe even go for some drives, even if simulated (which are very fun).
luftgekuhlt
Wife, son and I will drive the Macan to LA. We will visit family, look at cars, space shuttles and lots and lots of Porsche's, luftgekuhlt Porsche's.
